About the Role

As a Key Holder at VOAMI, you’ll play a vital leadership role in store operations. You’ll be responsible for opening and closing the store, supporting the management team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your work helps generate revenue that funds programs for individuals in need—making a real difference in your community.

What You’ll Do

• Store Opening & Closing:
• • Open and close the store following company policies
  • Ensure security procedures are followed, including alarm systems
• Customer Service:
• • Provide outstanding service and assist with inquiries, product selection, and returns
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude
• Sales Support:
• • Help achieve sales goals through product knowledge and team collaboration
  • Assist with promotions, events, and product launches
• Store Maintenance:
• • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Replenish stock and assist with merchandising
• Team Leadership:
• • Supervise and support staff in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Train new employees on policies and best practices
• Cash Management:
• • Handle cash duties including opening/closing registers and balancing drawers
• Loss Prevention:
• • Follow security policies and report suspicious activity
• Other Duties:
• • Assist with receiving and processing shipments
  • Collaborate with management to resolve operational issues

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of retail and supervisory experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Knowledge of retail operations, cash handling, and basic security
• Computer literacy preferred

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and walking
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, subject to seasonal elements
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse public and handling interruptions
