Medical Technologist

Full Time—80 hours per pay period

Rotating day & night shifts w/

occasional weekends & holidays

 Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you’ll perform a wide range of laboratory testing, collect and analyze specimens, and support accurate diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages. What You’ll Do:

· Perform laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, and EKG

· Collect specimens via venipuncture, capillary puncture, and arteriopuncture

· Ensure specimen integrity, patient safety, and accurate documentation

· Troubleshoot testing issues and maintain quality control standards

· Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

· Maintain security and confidentiality of patient health information

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

· Associate of Applied Science Degree (minimum)

· Board certification required or completed within 1 year of hire

· Current BCLS certification

· Valid driver’s license with proof of liability insurance required

· Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain attention to detail

· Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
