STATUS: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Flexible; to meet the needs of the caseload
LOCATION: West Hills, and South Hills area of Allegheny County
SALARY: $18.50/hr
Citizen Care Inc., a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.
Responsibilities
Responsible to the Assistant Executive Director for providing services to people with intellectual disabilities by:
- Treating people with dignity and respect
- Encouraging personal discovery, development, and enhancing self-esteem
- Promoting independence in all aspects of a person’s life
- Encouraging each person to understand, exercise, and protect their rights and the rights of others
- Helping each person to identify, realize and celebrate their hopes and dreams
- Providing each person choices whenever possible
- Encouraging independence while at the same time providing supports as needed
- Reporting to work as scheduled, which may include working at other facilities, houses, apartments or as specified on holidays/snow days, and mandatory overtime
- Understanding of and compliance with all Citizen Care, Inc.’s Personnel Policies and Procedures and licensing regulations
CASH INCENTIVES
- $2,500 Sign on Bonus for new employees
- Referral Bonus for current employees:
- $2,500 for each successfully referred Full Time DSP
- $1,000 for each successfully referred Full Time non-DSP

Qualifications
1. Must be at least 18 years of age or older
2. High School Diploma or GED
3. One (1) year work experience providing services and supports to people with intellectual disabilities
4. A valid Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia driver’s license
5. Ability to lift and transfer without restriction
6. Very dependable
7. Act 34 and FBI Clearances (if applicable)
8. Excellent references, both personal and professional
Minimum Compensation
USD $18.50/Hr.
