POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pantry Staff member to assist in the preparation and organization of cold and pre-prepared menu items. The Pantry position is essential to maintaining efficiency and quality in the kitchen, supporting chefs and line cooks with timely, accurate, and hygienic prep work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Prepare and assemble cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, dressings, and other pantry items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, ensuring all food items are properly stored and labeled.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing as needed.
- Monitor stock levels of pantry items and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages or needed supplies.
- Ensure all food products are fresh, of high quality, and prepared in a timely manner.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Assist in other kitchen duties as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes, and supporting line cooks during busy periods.
- Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
