Deputy Provost, the Director of the Teaching and Learning Centre leads
university-wide strategies to enhance teaching quality and student success. The
role oversees faculty support for innovative, technology-enabled instruction
and student-focused programs that drive engagement, learning, and retention. The
Director sets direction for pedagogical development, educational technology,
open educational resources, and the learning management system, ensuring
alignment with institutional priorities and continuous, data-informed
improvement. They also manage key academic and transition initiatives (e.g.,
LEAP, UPrep, academic integrity), and contribute to policy, training, and
cross-campus collaboration to strengthen teaching and learning.
The success candidate
will lead university-wide teaching and learning strategy to enhance
instructional quality and student success, overseeing faculty support,
educational technology, and student-focused programs. The Director engages
faculty, academic leaders, students, and campus partners to drive innovation,
alignment, and continuous improvement.
