SALARY: $132,439-$158,277 based on aligned years of experience
STATUS: Full time school year, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position
START: On or before May 1, 2026
REPORTS TO: Chief Academic Officer or their delegate

Key Strategic Leadership Responsibilities:
Establish and drive the academic vision to improve student achievement and growth through data-driven planning, coaching, and professional development.
Develop the school's cultural vision including expectations, values, climate and restorative practices. Serve as a role model and motivator.
Develop and execute on school-based talent strategy aimed at retaining transformational talent.
Build partnerships to engage families and community members in the school’s vision. Promote the school brand.
Core Job Functions:
Instructional Excellence: Lead instructional team establishing and driving the academic vision, focusing on data-driven planning, teacher training and development.
School Culture: Develop and reinforce a strong school culture rooted in high expectations, restorative practices, and values-based leadership.
People Leadership: Partner with Impact’s Talent and HR teams to recruit, develop, and retain highly effective school team members. Manage, mentor and coach team members to encourage growth and results including leading on hiring, training, and conducting evaluations.
Community Engagement: Build meaningful partnerships with families and community members, promoting the school’s vision and brand.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day. Frequent light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds) with occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). The employee must have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Work is primarily inside but has daily responsibilities outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather).
Required Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
5+ years of experience working in schools and classrooms with a history of success improving student outcomes
2+ years of experience in school-based leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in elementary education school leadership is highly preferred
Experience as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and/or other senior school-based leader highly preferred
Passion for equity and gap closing teaching experience with proven record of student growth
License/Certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a CPR certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a food handler certification
