    Descriptio

    • Fulfill responsibilities of a head coach in accordance with the MSHSL training and guidelines and in accordance with program values as directed by the Activities Director.
    • Adhere to MSHSL and Albert Lea School District expectations.
    • Previous high school coaching experience preferred.
    • Ability to motivate athletes in an educationally based atmosphere.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in skill development, communication techniques and conflict resolution.
    • Support core values and mission of activities department, school, and school district.
    • Dedication to a culture and vision that promotes furthering the benefits of co-curricular activities.
    • Responsible for leadership and alignment of entire 7-12th grade program staff.
    • Dedication to culture and vision of activities office, promoting benefits of all co-curricular activities.
    • Positive role model for all students of district 241.
    • Responsible for organization of all practices and assisting the activities department with coordinating events for the program.
    • Provide individual and team instruction.
    • Provide structures and expectations for coaches of all levels to ensure successes throughout the entire program.
    • Partnership with youth associations and feeder programs to encourage participation and focus on developing age appropriate skills.
    • Support ALHS Strength and Conditioning program.
    • Monitor grades, attendance, and student eligibility.
    • Keep accurate inventory of equipment, supply, and uniforms.
    • Manage supply/equipment budgets.
    • Provide communications to families and athletes regarding the program.
    • Set and manage line-ups and rosters.

    Pay Rate:

    • Compensation will be in accordance with Schedule C of the Teacher Master Agreement
