As Marketing Director, you will focus on driving customers into our stores, reaching sales goals, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. In this role, you’ll partner with all Fleet Feet Nashville departments and staff, while also managing a small marketing team that makes a big impact on our stores and in the community.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be accountable for defining Fleet Feet Nashville’s brand and marketing strategies, social media marketing, email marketing, outreach events and expos, and race partnerships. The Director of Marketing is proficient at converting customer insights into an effective growth and outreach approach, coordinating multiple long-term projects simultaneously, and managing interdepartmental teams.

Responsibilities:
- Makes business decisions, always putting staff and customers first
- Develops and refines Fleet Feet Nashville's brand and marketing strategy
- Drives customer acquisition and retention
- Simultaneously oversees multiple company-wide interdepartmental projects
- Promotes individual and team performance by setting expectations, delegating, and providing tools and resources
- Builds and maintains trust from staff, customers and the community by using sound judgement
- Fosters growth of others through recognition, coaching and development opportunities
- Supports all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions
Qualifications:
- Prior Marketing, Outreach, and/or Leadership experience strongly preferred
- Capable of communicating professionally and building strong relationships with customers, vendors, community partners, and team
- Experience managing multiple Social Media platforms
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and direct others
- Collaborative and customer-centric
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to go above and beyond when needed
- Valid Driver’s License

Compensation: $50,000-$62,500 per year
Additional Requirements - Requires a flexible schedule that may change from week to week and could include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Hours of work for this position are approximately 40+ hours per week. Local travel is required.
