Responsibilities:
- Engages in professional communication with clients under supervision of Managers and Seniors
- Accurately and efficiently prepares partnership, S Corporation and individual tax returns and utilizes feedback to prevent from repeating errors
- Prepares income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients
- Conducts research, analysis, development and summarization of financial information
- Analyzes accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Maintains and organizes client files in accordance with firm standards
- Maintains open communication with management regarding the progress of completion on projects
- Uses critical thinking to investigate client financials and fix any discrepancies
- Participates actively in training and developmental opportunities
- Supports Interns in professional development
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required
- Basic knowledge of Federal and state income tax laws and principles of individual and business taxation is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Proven time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Actively studying and preparing for the CPA certification
