Position Summary

Nassawadox Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a reliable and detailoriented PartTime Painter to support the maintenance and upkeep of our skilled nursing facility. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior painting projects in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces
• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed
• Match paint colors and finishes as required
• Protect furniture, floors, and equipment during painting
• Follow safety protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies
• Work around residents respectfully and minimize disruption
• Coordinate projects with maintenance and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Prior painting experience (commercial or healthcare setting preferred)
• Knowledge of painting tools, techniques, and materials
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to pass background check and health screening
• Dependable and professional demeanor
