Responsible for assembly of patient trays, setting up and maintaining serving line and area, and keeping tray line area in a clean and orderly condition. Under the direct supervision of the Patient Service Managers, responsible for an assigned shift, five days per week.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables, and breaks down stations at the end of meal periods.
- Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
- Performs dish room activities for ware washing, meeting timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Delivers food carts to nursing floors at each meal for distribution.
- Picks up trays from patient rooms following each meal bringing, returning carts to Food and Nutrition Service.
- Receives, sorts, washes, racks, shelves china and glassware and performs another cleaning as required.
- Properly stores, labels and dates food according to hospital safety and sanitation guidelines with 100% accuracy.
- Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or GED required.
LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:
- None
EXPERIENCE:
- Six months to one year of experience in Health Care food service or related field preferred
