Banquet Server is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service at a variety of events including weddings, banquets, meetings, and member events. This role ensures guests have a positive dining experience by delivering food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized event space, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events
- Assist with event breakdown and resetting spaces
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and members
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards
Physical Skills: Squatting, bending, kneeling is required. Carrying weight that exceed 25 lbs. with one arm and many duties that require carrying weight of 50 lbs. Scrubbing walls/floors, walking and standing for periods of 6 hours or more per shift.
Working Conditions: Work primarily indoors in a banquet facility environment, some outdoor events. Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement hazards, sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves, grills and food items, and dangerous chemicals/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
Shifts: Weekdays and weekends, mornings and nights
