Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with company policy.
Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
Observe and report on residents' conditions, and document observations as required.
Promote a safe and clean environment.
Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of department, resident, employee information, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Enrolled or graduation from an accredited Certified nursing aide school and a current, valid license or registration (CNA) in the state where employed are required.
Current certification to practice as a certified nurse aide.
Current CPR certification desired.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, nursing/Resident progress notes.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department heads, customers (Residents, family members, physicians, etc.) and the public.
Computer skills required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Freedom from illegal use of drugs. Freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Anyone found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting is ineligible for employment in the position.
Benefits:
Salary: $15 - $17 HOURLY
