Job Summary:

Identify opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency in Forj Medical’s Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance processes and activities. Identified opportunities are prioritized based on impact/benefit to Forj Medical and/or it’s customers. The CI Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring continuous improvement activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to plan, organize, and execute continuous improvement activities.
  • Establish continuous improvement goals and execute plans to deliver goal achievement.
  • Collaborate with Forj Medical Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Forj Medical cross-functional leadership to establish and maintain a continuous improvement mindset across the organization.
  • Assists Manufacturing Engineers as needed to improve manufacturing yield rates, equipment up time, and/or throughput.
  • Assists Quality Assurance Engineers as needed to address product quality issues.
  • Provide training as needed for updated processes.
  • Track continuous improvement results and prepare and present continuous improvement project updates to the Forj Medical leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (preferably in an engineering field) from four-year college or university, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of at least two (2) years of experience in the medical device and/or biotechnology industry
  • Project management experience

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication

Compensation and Total Rewards Package

The salary range for this position is outlined below under "Job Details" and is dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
