🌟 Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail‑oriented Janitorial Shift Supervisor to lead a team of custodians and ensure our client’s facility is maintained to the highest standards. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the leadership presence to guide and support a team.

Position: Janitorial Shift Supervisor

Pay Rate: $21/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Location: Downtown

Lifting Requirement: Must be able to lift 35 lbs repeatedly

Experience Required: 1–3 years Janitorial + Bilingual (English/Spanish)

🧹 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including:

    • Pulling trash, Dusting, Restroom cleaning, sanitizing, vacuuming, and floor care

  • Supervise and support janitorial staff during the shift

  • Train new employees and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed

  • Coordinate daily tasks and special projects with team members

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all areas meet the scope-of-work standards

  • Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing, supplies, and building needs

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

  • Serve as the point of contact for on-site issues during the shift

    • Other tasks assigned by the Manager

✔️ Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required

  • 1–3 years of janitorial experience

  • Prior experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Team Coordinator preferred

  • Ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • Ability to motivate and guide a team with kindness

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected situations

  • Professional attitude and customer‑service approach

  • Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
  • Must be authorized to work in the US **
