We are looking for an Electrical/Electronics Technician to join our team in Prague, Czech Republic.

As part of a small Space / Ground Support team, you will contribute to the manufacture of electrical/electronics sub-assemblies, and to the assembly and testing of Electrical Ground Support Equipment, which is typically used by our customers to test spacecraft.

Responsibilities

In this position your responsibilities will typically include:

  • Assembly of systems of electrical devices into racks or manufacture of sub-assemblies
  • Mechanical assembly, light mechanical work on metal parts
  • Assembly and creation of precise electronics cable harnesses
  • Parts management / storage area operations
  • Testing of electrical circuits
  • Documentation, e.g. test protocols

This is a permanent full-time or part-time position located in Prague, Czech Republic, to start as soon as possible.  Some travel is required.

 

Qualifications & Competencies

Applicants shall have vocational training as an electrician or electronics technician.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Electrician with emphasis on electronics: skilled in electrical/mechanical assembly work: cable manufacturing, internal rack cabling, rack assembly, set-up and operation of advanced electronic devices such as programmable power supplies
  • CZ certification 194/2022 for work on electrical devices (previously Paragraph 50)
  • Knowledge of electricity fundamentals, electrical circuits, be able to use a multimeter and other measuring equipment
  • Organizational skills, ability to work independently
  • Working knowledge of English is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel for short-term work assignments in Vienna is highly welcome
