We have an exciting and immediate opening for a full-time day porter for cleaning a customer building. This position is located in Centennial near the airport. The ideal candidate for this jobs is a professional cleaner to perform a variety cleaning duties. Cleaners are in charge of maintaining all public and private spaces to employer standards. Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and bathroom & break room cleaning. Attention to detail and a positive attitude is a must. The right candidates are punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

• Working hours for the full time day porter are 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday - Friday
• Pay is $13 - $15 an hour
• Must pass a background check and drive your own vehicle

Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities

• Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces.
• Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors.
• Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of equipment and products.
• Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets.
• Disposal of trash from bins and containers.
• Dusting furniture as needed.
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms.
• Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy.
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.

Cleaner Requirements and Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and techniques for cleaning.
• Able to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone, or with a partner or team.
• Reliable and punctual with a dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to assist team members with cleaning duties when needed.
• Pays attention to detail when cleaning.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability to make common sense decisions.
• Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time or use a backpack vacuum.
• Ability to lift up to 25 to 50 pounds.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time.
• Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided.

While the job is not strenuous, you will have to move consistently for up to four hours. It does involve hours of walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds. The job may include trash removal, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning of restrooms. Come join our team.
