Business Developer – Commercial Painting & Pressure Washing

Broward & Palm Beach Counties | $50K–$60K Base + Uncapped Commissions

Our client, a fast-growing Commercial Painting Contractor serving South Florida, is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Developer to expand their footprint across Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

This role focuses on generating new business for commercial painting and pressure washing services, targeting HOAs, commercial properties, municipalities, and large residential communities. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a proven ability to win contracts, navigate competitive bids, and consistently exceed sales targets.

You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building trust with decision-makers, and positioning high-quality painting and exterior maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for commercial painting and pressure washing services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, HOA boards, facility managers, business owners, and municipal leaders
  • Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, site walks, estimating coordination, proposal development, and closing
  • Navigate RFPs, bids, and contract negotiations with professionalism and strategic insight
  • Conduct site assessments to understand client needs and develop tailored service solutions
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking within CRM systems
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities


Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B business development or outside sales, preferably within commercial painting, construction, facilities services, or property services
  • Strong network or experience working with HOAs, property management firms, commercial real estate, or municipalities
  • Demonstrated ability to close new business and manage complex sales cycles
  • Experience with RFPs, bidding processes, and contract negotiations
  • Confident presenting to boards, executives, and decision-making committees
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed revenue targets
