Duties

Directs the administrative operations of the Human Resources (HR) Division.,Responsible for the proper handling of telephone calls, messages, and short-fused taskers, as well as receiving incoming guests/visitors.,Reviews and prepares regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policy memorandums, ensuring documents are prepared in proper format.,Participates with senior HR specialists in providing advice and assistance to customers located in headquarters.,Maintains logistical support as the overall supply needs, services, and property accountability.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Preparing correspondence such as memoranda, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or responses to congressional inquiries; and 2) Coordinating meetings, conferences, or travel plans; and 3) Maintaining logistical support for an office (e.g. supply needs, services, and property accountability). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
