CHC is looking for a Centralized Triage Registered Nurse to support our OB/GYN clinic team. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to assess patient needs, triage incoming calls, and ensure patients receive timely, appropriate care throughout their women’s health journey.
This position plays a key role in supporting prenatal, gynecological, and reproductive health patients by helping determine urgency, providing clinical guidance, and coordinating care with providers and clinic staff.

- Triage incoming OB/GYN patient calls using clinical assessment, listening, and critical thinking skills
- Evaluate symptoms related to pregnancy, women’s health, and gynecological concerns
- Provide guidance, education, and appointment coordination based on patient needs
- Serve as a clinical resource to OB/GYN providers and clinic staff
- Assist with patient flow, including supporting walk-in or triaged patients when needed
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per provider orders
- Perform lab testing, EKGs, and specimen collection/processing as needed
- Participate in huddles, care coordination, and clinic meetings/training sessions
- Support patient access efforts such as confirmation calls and schedule optimization
✔ Requirements:
- Active RN license in Iowa and Illinois
- Current CPR certification
- Mandatory Reporter certification
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
- Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced OB/GYN environment
- Passion for supporting women through all stages of care
