Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in both assisted and independent living settings with empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately in compliance with established protocols.
- Monitor and document residents’ health status and communicate any changes promptly to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordination of care and optimal outcomes.
- Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness practices.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN or LVN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in assisted or independent living or similar healthcare settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach focused on quality care.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health record use.
