Job Summary:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and our veterinary team, while helping to maintain a positive and efficient clinic environment.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and our veterinary team, while helping to maintain a positive and efficient clinic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle basic billing.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
- Communicate with clients about their pet’s care and next steps.
- Provide support to veterinary staff as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable handling pets and speaking with owners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with veterinary software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
