As an Electrician you will work on a wide variety of electrical projects including installation of equipment, new construction, and demolition. Maintain all electrical fixtures, electrical equipment and electrical systems on property according to the National Electrical Code and other pertinent codes. 

Job Duties 

1. Responsible for overall operation and preventative maintenance of Casino including emergency power generator.
2. Reports facilities repair requirements to supervisor and plans repairs.
3. Assists in estimating materials purchases for electrical repairs and planning
4. Installs and monitors the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
5. Lays out, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring and new service to include panels, breakers and circuits.
6. Mounts motor, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications.
7. Troubleshoots and repairs electric controls, motor control panels and programmable logic controls.
8. Set up temporary power services for special events.
9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 Job Qualifications and Requirements 

• Five-year electrical apprenticeship or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Journeyman’s license
• Knowledge of electrical codes and other applicable building codes
• Experience with low voltage wiring systems
• A valid driver’s license required
• Must be at least 21  
• Must be able to stand, bend, and maneuver lift up to 60 lbs., work in conditions 115 degrees and below temps
