This role requires a Care Professional who is calm, attentive, and comfortable providing hands-on care for a husband and wife with different needs. Your ability to safely support mobility and personal care while staying attentive throughout the shift directly impacts their safety, comfort, and quality of life.

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday
• 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Weekday Fill-In Shifts May Also Be Available

Strong attendance and reliability are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Provide care and support for two clients in the same home
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Provide standby assistance and fall prevention when client is using a walker
• Support safe transfers (client can assist with pivot transfers but caregiver must guide and ensure safety)
• Assist with meal preparation for both clients
• Provide medication reminders
• Monitor for changes in condition (especially related to diabetes)
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry
• Stay actively engaged throughout the shift to ensure safety and needs are consistently met

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with hands-on caregiving (required)
• Confidence supporting mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Ability to stay organized and balance attention between two clients while maintaining safety and awareness
• Strong reliability and flexibility to work long weekend shifts
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to learn
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day
• Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare, in-home care, hospitality, or similar people-facing roles
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality, companionship-first care
