Work Hours: Hours vary based on need but will be within 8:30am – 4:30pm during the semester and 8:30am-7:00pm during finals.
Brief Job Overview/Summary
The Learning Access Program, Stockton's Disability Services Office, seeks responsible, motivated individuals who can work a flexible daytime schedule. This position is excellent training for individuals who seek a career in higher education, student affairs or public service. Academic year term with an opportunity for a 10-month renewal with satisfactory performance and evaluation.
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The Learning Access Program Graduate Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
•Answer telephone calls for Learning Access Program and Counseling and Psychological Services. Field incoming calls requesting appointments and answering questions regarding services such as classroom and accommodated housing accommodations.
•Proctor various tests, including but not limited to those in the testing center, those needing a reader and/or scribe, and those utilizing adaptive technology. Maintain confidentiality and security of all testing materials.
•Create and lead workshops on transitioning skills with guidance from program coordinators.
•Assist with marketing efforts for the Learning Access Program.
•Assist in the maintenance of the Wellness Center website and portal.
•Participate in the development, coordination, and facilitation of student training.
•Other work as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
•Candidates must be enrolled as matriculated Graduate students with Stockton University during employment.
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with prior relevant experience.
•Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Strong sense of professionalism, enthusiasm, flexibility, organization, and self-motivation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse students, instructors, and staff.
