The Associate Project Manager is responsible for coordinating customer implementation projects from initiation through project closure. They are responsible for project scheduling and coordination, budget control, non-conformity resolution, and risk management.
This is an entry-level to early-career project management role responsible for managing small to moderately complex customer implementations, operating under limited oversight and aligned with established project management methodologies.
- Utilize the Project Implementation Methodology and related tools to bring projects to successful completion within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Facilitate and coordinate client meetings using engaging, informative presentation methods.
- Create and maintain project documentation utilizing standards prescribed by the
- Project Management team
- Develop, maintain, and track project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and action items.
- Manage timely and effective communication with key customer and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project scope against contractual commitments and escalate potential out-of-scope requests appropriately.
- Oversee activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and milestone commitments are met.
- Identify, track, communicate, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and customer decision delays in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Provide support to other Project Management team members, as directed
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Services, Sales, Support) to ensure alignment and successful customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate project data, status reporting, forecasts, and milestone tracking in company systems.
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent international qualification, or relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
