The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization's computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

This role in summary

This role requires a professional with strong experience in digital platforms as well as Order-To-Fulfillment processes. As part of the Global Information Technology (GIT) team, the Senior Analyst will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors across the EMEA region to design, implement, and support various ecommerce solutions (VTEX, Informatica P360, Salesforce,...) as well as SAP ERP Order-to-Fulfilment solution. This role will need to work closely with the global team to streamline processes and tools.  This role ensures seamless integration of IT capabilities with business objectives, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities in the eCommerce and Order-To-Fulfillment space.

Your responsibilities will include

Ecommerce and Order-to-Fulfillment Solution Development:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for ecommerce and SAP platforms, and ensure solutions are optimized for Order-To-Fulfillment operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that enhance the customer experience/consumer journey and support our internal partners.
  • Lead the design, development, and integration of ecommerce systems with ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Lead the design, development, and integration of SAP Order-to-Fulfillment solutions.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure e-commerce requirements are correctly translated into SAP processes.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and document ecommerce and Order-To-Fulfillment requirements, translating them when needed into actionable functional specifications.
  • Analyze gaps in current platforms and propose IT-driven improvements to enhance scalability, usability, and performance in ecommerce ecosystems.
  • Oversee the development lifecycle of IT solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with IT development teams and external vendors to manage integrations, testing, and deployments of eCommerce and Order-to-Fulfillment features and enhancements.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for ecommerce and Order-To-Fulfillment platforms performance.

 

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Guide external consultants or contractors on ecommerce-related projects.
  • Understand and document the end-to-end operational flow of our digital commerce ecosystem, from our VTEX platform to our SAP ERP environment. This critical role will ensure seamless data synchronization, efficient order processing, and robust system integrity, directly impacting our customer experience and business efficiency.

 

Process Optimization & Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline ecommerce, D2C and B2B processes, focusing on automation, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about emerging ecommerce technologies and recommend innovative solutions to maintain a competitive edge. 

Minimum requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years in IT roles, with specific experience supporting ecommerce or Order-To-Fulfillment ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing technologies and customer engagement tools
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proven experience dealing with technical discussions, conflict management and prioritization with senior stakeholders
  • Functional understanding of SAP ERP, particularly Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Finance(FI), Controlling(CO) and their integration points
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing integrations between e-commerce platforms and ERP systems. Experience with data mapping, EDI, or API management will be considered as a plus
