The Impact of a Renewals Manager to Coupa:

The Renewals Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue retention across Coupa鈥檚 existing customer base. By proactively tracking contract end dates, forecasting renewals, and engaging with key stakeholders, the Renewals Manager ensures timely and seamless renewals. In addition to managing renewals, this role is responsible for processing simple add-on opportunities鈥攕uch as additional user licenses within existing product entitlements鈥攚hile partnering with Sales on broader expansion efforts. The Renewals Manager collaborates closely with Customer Value Managers, Sales, and other internal teams to ensure aligned and strategic customer communication.

What You'll Do:

    • Manage and process renewal agreements efficiently using internal tools and systems (e.g., SFDC).
    • Partner with Customer Value Managers (CVMs) and Sales to execute retention strategies and secure renewals.
    • Engage key customer contacts to address objections and drive successful renewal outcomes.
    • Identify and escalate renewal risks to CVMs and Sales as needed.
    • Handle simple add-on opportunities (e.g., seat licenses), coordinating with Sales on complex expansions.
    • Ensure contract accuracy, legal compliance, and timely signatures for all renewal documentation.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

    • 2+ years of experience in SaaS or enterprise software, focused on Renewals, Account Management, or Customer Success.
    • Strong communication (English/Spanish) written, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence retention and upsell outcomes.
    • Highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with a results-driven mindset, consistently contributing to renewal bookings.
    • Proficient in Salesforce and CPQ; familiarity with supply chain processes is a plus.
    • Curious, competitive, and eager to learn with a proactive, action-oriented approach.
