Job Description

As an Auto Sheeter you will set up and run an automatic sheeter and RF press to produce blocks that meet customer and company specifications.



 



 



Currently there is an opening for an Auto Sheeter in our Aramid division on 3rd shift (10:30p - 6:30a. Sunday - Thursday)



 



 



 



***Training will need to be on 1st shift- Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM***



 



 



Aramid Auto Sheeter: Starting at $21.58 per hour on 3rd Shift!



 



 



 



Key Responsibilities:




  • Check schedule to determine next order to process.

  • Read work order instructions and process specifications.

  • Use overhead crane to load/unload coils. 

  • Load/unload aluminum base plates.

  • Setup and run automated sheeter to produce blocks according to specifications.

  • Monitor coils and stacking of sheets to identify potential quality issues. 

  • Transfer blocks and plates from press to staging area using vacuum assist mechanism. 

  • Complete associated paperwork.

  • Enter process and work order information into computer system to maintain accurate records. 

  • Monitor equipment and make setup adjustments as necessary.

  • Communicate with management representatives regarding any material or equipment concerns. 

  • Record production and scrap information on team board charts.

  • Maintain an inventory of supplies.  Notify supervisor when re-order level is reached. 

  • Assist in performing quarterly inventory checks. 

  • Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery by being efficient, productive, and careful. 

  • Actively participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods. 

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times including waste/scrap removal and cleanup of equipment. 

  • Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. 



 



Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Ability to work overtime.



 



Additional Requirements:




  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
