Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking Full-Time Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $16.50-$17.50

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and departments

  • Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds

  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building issues

  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules

  • Assist with room preparation and repairs for new admissions or room changes

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and facility standards

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies

  • Support emergency repairs as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous maintenance experience required (healthcare or facility experience preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent issues

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and organizational skills
