Shift/Hours/Location: M-F, 8am-5pm, Onsite, Moses Lake, WA
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Oversee and coordinate all shipping activities, including scheduling shipments, arranging transportation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods
- Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to arrange pickup and delivery of shipments
- Generate shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, invoices and shipping labels in compliance with regulations and customer requirements
- Monitor the status of shipments in transit and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers as needed
- Address issues or delays that arise during the shipping process, including coordinating with carriers to resolve transportation-related problems
- Identify opportunities to streamline shipping processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials such as packaging supplies and reorder as needed
- Maintains accurate and complete customer records in company shared drives and D365.
- Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
- Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
- Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
- Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
- Work as a team and/or independently.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Regular and punctual attendance is expected in order to accomplish the critical mission of the department and organization.
- Work to continuously improve productivity, cost savings, safety and morale to gain positive results in all areas.
- Maintain physical condition and health so as to be able to timely perform assigned job duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) and 49 CFR certified.
- Experience with international shipping.
- Working knowledge of D365, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Summary pay range: $22-$25/hour

Working Conditions: Duties are generally performed indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, in a 24-hour per day, seven day per week manufacturing environment. Handling and working with hazardous materials and chemical manufacturing equipment is routine. The employee may work in the presence of fumes or airborne particles, hot, toxic or corrosive chemicals, water, liquids and electrical equipment. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. When working in the presence of these hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protection such as: hardhat, respirator, hearing protection, protective clothing, safety glasses, safety footwear, etc. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc.
