Summary
Star7 Group is looking for a proactive
and organized General Localization Office Support Specialist to assist
with the daily operations of our localization team. In this role, you will
support the Localization Operations Manager by handling administrative
tasks, coordinating localization workflows, managing vendor communication, and
ensuring smooth office operations. If you have strong organizational skills,

Key Responsibilities
· Administrative & Office
Support
o Assist the Localization Operations Manager with scheduling,
reporting, and documentation.
o Maintain and organize localization-related files, contracts,
invoices, and communication records.
o Handle general office duties, such as meeting coordination, taking
minutes, and tracking action items.
o Support the team with procurement requests and expense tracking
for localization activities.
· Localization Workflow
Coordination
o Manage incoming localization requests and ensure proper
documentation and tracking.
o Coordinate project schedules and deadlines, ensuring smooth
workflow execution.
o Support file preparation and content management for localization
projects.
o Ensure translated content is properly stored and accessible to
relevant teams.
· Vendor & Freelancer
Coordination
o Serve as the primary point of contact for external translation
vendors and freelance linguists.
o Assist in vendor onboarding, contract management, and payment
processing.
o Ensure all required contracts, NDAs, and compliance documents are
completed.
o Track vendor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned
tasks.
o Help resolve vendor inquiries, project issues, or invoicing
discrepancies.
· Team Engagement &
Wellbeing
o Organize training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing
initiatives for the localization team.
o Support initiatives to improve engagement and retention of
localization employees and freelancers.
o Act as a liaison between the localization team and HR to address
workplace concerns or requests.
· Quality Control &
Content Support
o Assist with reviewing localized content for formatting errors or
missing translations.
o Coordinate with reviewers, linguistic teams, and stakeholders to
gather feedback.
o Maintain and update translation glossaries, style guides, and
linguistic assets.
o Support linguistic QA and testing efforts to ensure high
localization quality.
· Tool & System Support
o Help manage localization tools, translation management systems
(TMS), and content platforms.
o Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to file handling and
localization software.
o Assist in training internal teams on localization tools and best
practices.
· Reporting & Process
Improvement
o Generate reports on localization project progress, vendor
performance, and budget tracking.
o Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving
localization workflows.
o Assist in implementing automation tools and best practices for
localization efficiency.
Skills, Experience
& Qualifications
degree in Business, Marketing, Localization, or a related field.
· 5+ years’ experience in project coordination, preferably in
localization or translation.
· Experience in localization tools, processes and workflows.
· Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to
detail.
· Familiarity with localization workflows and tools (e.g.,
Smartling, XTM, SDL Trados, memoQ) is a plus.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams
and external vendors.
· Basic knowledge of invoicing, procurement, or vendor management is
a plus.
