NIFA Tribal College Education Equity Grant Program (TCEEGP) Intern
Policy:
As a 1994 Land-Grant, the College of the Muscogee Nation (CMN) supports native culture and food sovereignty through National Institute of Food and Agriculture Tribal College Education Equity Grants Program. The Intern program allows students to learn about native culture, agriculture, and food to gain work experience.
Procedure:
Intern Criteria:
- Minimum of 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- Must have completed 6 credit hours at the College of the Muscogee Nation.
- Enrolled in 3 or more credit hours at the College of the Muscogee Nation.
- Responsible for transportation to and from internship sites.
- Must be available to work between 10 to 30 hours a week during the internship.
- Must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Pay rate is $11.00 per hour.
Review and Selection Process
- Interns will complete the NIFA TCEEGP Intern application online.
- Interns will participate in an interview.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Intern will be focused primarily upon assisting the NIFA TCEEGP Co-Project Director with implementing the research and other duties within the scope of the grant.
- Attend Orientation and Closing Session.
- Participate in an evaluation of the program.
