    Position Overview

    The Digital Media Technology Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction within
    the Interactive Media Technology (IMT) pathway, preparing students for careers in digital media,
    game design, and interactive storytelling. This position emphasizes hands-on, project-based
    learning that reflects real-world industry practices.

     

    Key Responsibilities


    ? Deliver engaging instruction aligned with CTE standards and digital media curriculum
    ? Facilitate hands-on, project-based learning experiences in digital media production
    ? Teach industry-relevant skills in game design, interactive media, and digital storytelling
    ? Instruct students in photography, videography, broadcasting, and graphic design
    ? Integrate marketing and communication principles into digital media projects
    ? Utilize industry-standard software, including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator,
    InDesign, and Audition
    ? Guide students in portfolio development and real-world project creation
    ? Promote creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
    ? Maintain a safe, organized, and technology-rich learning environment
    ? Collaborate with school staff, industry partners, and community stakeholders

    Preferred Qualifications

    ? Valid teaching certification in Career and Technical Education (CTE)
    ? Industry experience in digital media, broadcasting, or design
    ? Experience with project-based learning and student portfolio development
