We are seeking a dependable Fleet & Yard Attendant to help keep our vehicles, equipment, and yard operations running smoothly. This hands‑on role is critical to supporting our landscape crews by ensuring trucks, trailers, and tools are clean, organized, safe, and job‑ready each day.

Responsibilities:
Inspect company trucks, vans, and trailers for cleanliness, fuel levels, and visible damage
Wash and detail vehicles; keep company logos and safety markings visible
Perform basic vehicle upkeep (checking fluids, lights, tires)
Report mechanical issues to supervisors or fleet managers
Help with vehicle staging so crews can deploy quickly in the morning
Organize, clean, and maintain landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
Perform minor maintenance such as blade sharpening, greasing, filter changes, and battery charging
Ensure tools are fueled, charged, and ready for daily use
Track equipment going out and returning to prevent loss or damage
Receive and monitor materials and yard inventory
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard
Assist with loading and unloading materials into company vehicles
Operate equipment such as loaders, mowers, and other landscape equipment.
Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
Maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Assist crews with morning setup and end‑of‑day cleanup
Identify missing, damaged, or unsafe equipment
Support smooth daily departures and returns
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Ability to communicate in English required; Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
