Maintain proficiency in the cafeteria POS software and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Maintain organized and accurate records to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Order products based on projected counts and manage inventory efficiently.
Follow district security procedures for cash handling and manage daily cash deposits.
Review school enrollment rosters and ensure accurate student enrollment in the POS system.
Manage staff time clock usage and ensure accountability.
Communicate effectively with campus and district administration.
Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor staff performance.
Ensure all meals claimed are entered correctly into the computer system.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Texas driver’s license.
Previous experience in food preparation.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Strong communication skills.
Completion of ServSafe Certification prior to or during the first year as manager.
Three years of experience in institutional food service operations.
Supervise and evaluate food service workers assigned to the campus cafeteria.
- Includes but is not limited to: Electric slicer, mixer, pressure steamer, deep-fat fryer, sharp cutting tools, oven, dishwasher, and food/utility carts.
