Job Responsibilities:
- Compassionate, energetic, responsible individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centric care in an orthopaedic sports medicine academic service.
- Treats patients independently in an office setting and serves as a first assistant in the operating room.
- Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
- Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
- Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintains and reviews patient’s records, charts and other pertinent information.
- Participates in research projects and educational projects.
- Performs related work as required.
- No call responsibilities. Occasional evening hours.
Education: Graduate of a school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Experience: One year of related clinical experience preferred.
License/Registration: Valid state license. CPR certification required
