Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to oversee clinical operations, support the back-office team, and ensure a smooth and efficient daily workflow. This role is ideal for someone who excels in leadership, clinical flow management, and maintaining organization in a busy dental practice.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support the dental assisting team
  • Assist the doctor chairside during procedures
  • Manage and maintain clinical flow to keep the schedule on time
  • Direct the doctor to the next patient or procedure
  • Communicate when procedures should begin wrapping up
  • Prepare, clean, and turn over operatories efficiently
  • Manage and order clinical supplies and inventory
  • Maintain sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
  • Monitor the daily schedule and anticipate clinical needs
  • Implement and maintain effective clinical systems
  • Organize operatories, instruments, and supply areas
  • Train and onboard dental assistants

Requirements

  • Lead Dental Assistant experience REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of dental assisting experience
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures and instruments
  • Experience managing clinical flow in a busy practice
  • Experience ordering and managing inventory
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented

Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: Based on experience
