Job Description

SUMMARY  

Repair and maintain rental fleet and guest equipment. Strong knowledge of rental equipment to assure guests have proper fitting equipmentAdjust rental equipment to manufacturer specsHandle guest and customer requests with efficiency and a good attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Ensure Tamarack Resort standards of service are always delivered 

  • Provide excellent customer service to guest, homeowners, and fellow employees 

  • Fit guests with appropriate size and type of rental equipment. 

  • Repair and maintain guest equipment to the highest standards. 

  • Inspect and ensure integrity of equipment, reporting any deficiencies. 

  • Adjust rental equipment to manufacturer specs.  

  • Handle guest and customer requests with efficiency and good attitude. 

  • Keep work area clean and organized. 

  • Handle all equipment with respect and maintain a safe working environment. 

  • Complete all reports on repaired equipment in a timely manner 

  • Complete other tasks as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must enjoy working and interacting with the public.

  • Must be over 16 years of age 

  • Detail Oriented 

  • Exceptional Computer skills 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

Prior work experience with a ski resort, seasonal business and/or the hospitality industry is highly preferred.   

LANGUAGE SKILLS  

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS  

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometryAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
