AEM Component Developer & Front-End Engineer

In this role, you will: 

  • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and dialogs    
  • Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end interfaces    
  • Translate UI/UX designs into functional web components    
  • Integrate AEM with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)    
  • Work with AEM Sites and Headless CMS implementations    
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and architects    
  • Optimize performance using best practices (lazy loading, caching, etc.)    
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness    
  • Follow coding standards, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation    
  • Debug and resolve issues across environments  

 

Who You Are: 

AEM Development

  • Strong experience with: AEM Sites (component development), HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, OSGi services, JCR repository structure 
  • Experience building reusable and configurable components  
  • Familiarity with AEM Dispatcher and caching mechanisms  

Front-End Development

  • Proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+)  
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue  
  • Experience with responsive design and accessibility (WCAG standards)  
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries  

Integration & Tools

  • Experience consuming REST APIs  
  • Familiarity with build tools  
  • Version control using Git  
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AEM Headless / SPA Editor  
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud integrations (Analytics, Target)  
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure  
  • Experience with performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals)  
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
