We are actively hiring for the position of Machine Operator (Cut Vinyl) for our plant in Salt Lake City, UT.
Shift: Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize vinyl cutters to execute kiss cutting and complete cut-outs
- Accurately read and interpret job instructions
- Remove excess material surrounding graphics
- Operate a laminator to finalize graphics
- Employ internal software systems to manage and monitor jobs
- Prepare finished jobs for shipping or production workflow
- Engage in hands-on tasks for much of the shift
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Cut Vinyl is preferred. (cutting, weeding, and pre-masking)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator is preferred. Prior experience in a sign shop or graphics production is preferred.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with others and work in close proximity to team members.
- A sharp focus on detail is crucial for recognizing minor defects in finished products at close range.
- Readiness to provide assistance in other areas as required.
- Strong focus on detail.
- Proficient reading and comprehension abilities.
- Basic proficiency in English.
