Reporting to the Manager – Maintenance, you act as a technical expert in your sector and actively contribute to the reliability, performance and optimization of production equipment. You support operations in the resolution of complex problems, participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the technical skills of the teams. An overview of your everyday life
- Provide specialized technical support to operations by intervening quickly in complex issues and minimizing the impact on production
- Diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving equipment failures by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions
- Execute maintenance work according to work orders (CMMS) according to operational priorities
- Rigorously document interventions, analyses and corrective actions to ensure traceability and data quality
- Act as a technical reference for the production teams
- Participate in recurring failure analyses and continuous improvement initiatives
- Propose and implement technical improvements to increase the reliability and performance of equipment
- Support engineering projects and NPI activities (testing, adjustments, modifications, commissioning)
- Contribute to the updating of standards, procedures and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, particularly in terms of lockout
- Train and coach employees to strengthen their autonomy and technical skills
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Participate in the planning of major work and planned shutdowns
- Maintain a high level of rigor in the execution and monitoring of technical data
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- DEP in electromechanics of automated systems, DEC in industrial maintenance, automation or mechanical engineering, or equivalent training
- 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong expertise in diagnosing and solving technical problems
- Experience with a CMMS (e.g., IT Guide), an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English)
