POSITION SUMMARY:
Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems seeks a dependable entry-level CNC Press Brake and Waterjet Operator for the first shift. Responsibilities include helping set up, operate, and maintain CNC press brake and waterjet machines for aerospace parts. No experience needed; training provided.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with CNC press brake and waterjet equipment under supervision.
· Ensure safe handling when loading raw materials and moving finished products.
· Interpret blueprints, job orders, and work instructions accurately.
· Use measuring devices like calipers and tape measures to verify quality and dimensions.
· Keep work areas tidy and well-organized at all times.
· Comply with all established safety rules and aerospace industry standards.
· Help with preparing machines and changing tooling as needed.
· Quickly report any problems or malfunctions with machinery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Willingness to learn CNC machinery and manufacturing processes.
· Basic math and measurement skills.
· Ability to read and follow written instructions.
· Strong attention to detail and quality.
· Dependable with strong work ethic and attendance.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees in this role are expected to meet several physical requirements to ensure safe and efficient job performance in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift, as the position often requires remaining on one's feet.
- Should be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. during routine job tasks.
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination are essential for handling materials and operating machinery safely and accurately.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment where noise and the presence of machinery are common.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
