Job Description

Hourly Wage

ISS Guckenheimer offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $22.82  - $27.65 .


Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Mon-Fri .


Key Purpose

The Site Operations Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of site activities. This position is responsible for managing pest control documentation, supporting audits and inspections, and assisting with various operational and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Pest Control Management

  • Host weekly and ad hoc pest vendor services.
  • Compile and track pest control reports, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Generate quarterly and annual pest control reports.
  • Support pest incursion investigations and maintain detailed records of pest control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to pest control and pesticide application.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.


Operational & Resource Management

  • Ensuring the team has the necessary resources and tools to perform their duties effectively.
  • Perform and oversee simple document updates, including formatting and reference changes for periodic reviews.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Support site audits and inspections by providing documentation and assisting with follow-up actions.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document control related to site operations.
  • Monitoring workflows, optimizing processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from site leadership, including administrative support and special projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, or quality support role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with compliance documentation in regulated industries (e.g., food production, healthcare).


Preferred:

  • Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) practices.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and pest control protocols.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or facilities environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.


Working Conditions:

  • Combination of fieldwork and office-based tasks.
  • May require lifting, bending, and exposure to chemicals.
  • Occasional travel to different work sites.
  • Other duties as assigned
