Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and organized Junior Project Management Assistant to support software and technology-related projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn project management, gain hands-on experience in Agile environments, and work closely with technical and business teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers with day-to-day coordination of projects
  • Assist with tracking tasks, schedules, and deliverables using Jira or other project management tools
  • Help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and status reports
  • Use AI tools to support project activities such as documentation, reporting, analysis, and communication drafts
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Assist in monitoring timelines, budgets, and project milestones
  • Help ensure clear communication between team members and stakeholders
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and spreadsheets using MS Office

 

Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of software development concepts or strong interest in technology
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (through coursework, internships, or work experience)
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Jira or other project management tools
  • Familiarity with using Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., AI assistants, automation tools, or productivity platforms) to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

 

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

  • Internship, coursework, or entry-level experience in project coordination or IT environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Trello, Asana, or MS Project
  • Degree or coursework in business, information systems, engineering, or related field
  • Exposure to AI-supported workflows such as task automation, reporting, or data analysis
