The Program Director is responsible for leading and delivering strategic transformation initiatives by integrating rigorous program and project management practices with structured organizational change management. This role ensures that targeted business outcomes are achieved not only through execution discipline, but also through effective adoption, stakeholder alignment, and sustained behavioral change.
Operating within the Transformation Office, the Program Director partners closely with executive leadership, functional teams, and site leaders to drive enterprise‑wide change initiatives that improve business performance and enable long‑term capabilities.
Digital & AI Focus: When assigned to Digital and AI Transformation initiatives, the Program Director is responsible for leading programs that leverage digital technologies, data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to materially improve business performance and decision‑making. This role ensures that AI‑enabled and digital solutions are delivered responsibly, adopted effectively, and embedded into day‑to‑day business processes to create sustained value. The Program Director partners closely with business leaders, IT, data & analytics teams, and functional stakeholders to bridge strategy, technology, and human adoption.
Program/Project Leadership & Execution Management
Lead complex, cross‑functional transformation programs from initiation through sustained adoption.
Apply PMI or equivalent disciplined program and project management practices to ensure predictable delivery.
Translate strategic priorities into clear scopes, success metrics, milestones, and integrated execution plans.
Develop and maintain core program artifacts including charters, schedules, budgets, risk and issue logs, dependency tracking, stakeholder matrices, and executive status reporting.
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, interdependencies, and execution constraints.
Ensure benefits realization is defined, tracked, and embedded into routine business operations.
Translate business problems into integrated digital and AI program roadmaps with clear value targets.

Organizational Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
Lead the change strategy for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment across people, processes, and behaviors.
Apply Prosci ADKAR or equivalent methodologies to drive engagement, adoption, and sustainability.
Assess change impacts, organizational readiness, and capability gaps in partnership with leaders.
Design and execute communication, training, and reinforcement strategies to support behavioral change.
Monitor adoption and sustainability metrics and drive corrective actions post-implementation.
Serve as a trusted partner to executive sponsors, functional leaders, and site leadership.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment and resolve execution or change barriers.
Deliver clear, executive-level updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Ensure AI and digital solutions are trusted, understood, and responsibly adopted through appropriate governance, controls, and transparency.
Transformation Office Contribution
Establish and reinforce repeatable program execution and change standards across initiatives.
Share lessons learned, best practices, and execution insights to improve startup speed and delivery effectiveness.
Contribute execution insight to initiative prioritization and sequencing discussions.
Support the ongoing development and refinement of Transformation Office tools, standards, and playbooks.
Promote consistency in governance, reporting, and change practices enterprise-wide.
Additional Responsibilities
Enable leaders to make data-driven decisions through improved insights, automation, and advanced analytics.
Champion the effective use of Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools to accelerate transformation executions.
Implement AI-enabled use cases across project planning, documentation, communications, training, executive reporting, and knowledge capture.
Establish practical standards, playbooks, and governance models for scaling digital and AI-enabled delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
7-10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or enterprise transformation initiatives.
Proven record of standing up, governing and delivering large-scale change initiatives from inception through sustained adoption.
Deep experience in program and project delivery leadership, including scope, schedule, risk, dependency, and benefits management.
Demonstrated accountability for organizational change outcomes, including adoption, capability building, and sustainability - not just execution support.
Experience working in matrixed, multi-site, or enterprise operation environments.
Demonstrated experience in hybrid delivery models (traditional, Agile, and/or iterative).
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent
Prosci ADKAR certification or other recognized change management credential.
Lean, Six Sigma, or continous/process improvement certification(s).
Applied experience using digital or AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, analytics, automation) to accelerate delivery or improve business outcomes.
Understanding of data, analytics, and AI solution lifecycles, including date readiness, deployment, governance, and adoption.
Experience translating technical concepts into actionable business decisions and measurable outcomes.
Familiarity with responsible AI principles, governance, and controls in an enterprise enviroment.
