YOUR ROLE:
Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of all Hardware (HW) project milestones.
Drive risk management, compliance, and execution excellence across Electrical and Mechanical hardware development.
Ensure the HW team fulfills all project deliverables according to PDP, MOS, customer expectations, and internal quality standards.
Promote transparency, root-cause resolution, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Support cost improvement initiatives, PCR Interim Approvals, and accurate MOS dashboard reporting.
Key responsibilities
Lead hardware project execution from concept through DV/PV and production release.
Create, maintain, and execute the Hardware (HW) achievement plan; track milestone progress versus project targets.
Ensure all HW Product Development Process (PDP) deliverables are completed on schedule; prevent PDP gate stops due to HW deliverables.
Prepare and represent the project during HW reviews and ensure data accuracy.
First point of contact for HW project-related topics toward the regional project organization.
Communicate proactively with Engineering Team Managers and Program Leadership regarding project status, risks, and escalations.
Ensure transparent reporting and issue escalation with both internal and external customers.
Support material cost optimization initiatives and BOM cost-down activities to achieve project cost targets.
Monitor HW resource usage against project budget and forecast.
Ensure BOMs remain at or below cost targets through the project lifecycle.
Ensure all Product Compliance Reports (PCRs) achieve Interim Approval (IA) within 30 days.
Maintain and update the HW project risk register; lead prioritization and closure of HW-related design quality issues.
Monitor and report All Parts Approval (APA) progress.
Ensure EE component readiness before DV and ME readiness before PV.
Represent the HW team in cross‑competency discussions and issue resolutions.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Validation, Systems, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to align deliverables and resolve deviations.
Support project quotations (RFQs) and lead HW responses to Product Change Evaluations (PCEs).
Ensure manufacturing alignment and resolve build- or process-related HW deviations.
Integrate platform components and lessons learned to maximize reuse and prevent recurrence of issues.
Support feedback loops to the Global Platform Organization (GPO).
Support preparation of lessons learned across all platforms and customer programs.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Engineering.
Knowledge in Hardware design process. At least several product design cycles.
Experience of working in a global virtual project team.
Professional experience in managing Hardware projects.
Facilitation skills, Interfacing with other competencies and internal and external customers.
Structured Problem solving and data driven mindset.
Fluency in English.
