Job Description

Industrial Bus Driver

SOUTHLAND Transportation is currently seeking experienced and safety-minded Industrial Bus Drivers to join our team in Regina, transporting employees to and from job sites.

This is a temporary full-time position lasting approximately three months with the possibility of extension; schedule will be determined upon hire.  This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.

Wage: $28.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete and document pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Safe operation of the bus while transporting people to and from site
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers; handle inquiries in a professional manner
  • Be familiar with SOUTHLAND policies and procedures
  • Complete required paperwork such as fuel and log sheets
  • Maintain a clean, fueled bus, and report any required maintenance to direct report

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with a clear driving abstract
  • Previous industrial driving experience (preferred)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing routes, schedules and job assignments
