Salary: $18.00/hour - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

Responsible To: Office Manager

Summary: This position will work with the Oneida Cultural Heritage Program to learn about and how to support the Program. Assist with administrative duties for the program in all areas. This includes but is not limited to the collaboration with other departments within and outside the organization of the Oneida Nation. This would include researching, learning the Oneida Language, Ceremonies, Cultural materials as they pertain to medicines, stories, cooking, foraging, land evaluation, policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and teachings. They will be responsible to provide resources for the membership and all outside entities as they pertain to the program. They will also learn about Federal, State, County and Tribal Policies. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations

College Major: Applicants please clearly state how you meet these qualifications on the application/resume.

  • History, Anthropology, Communications, Education, Linguistics, Native American Studies, or closely related field.
