Association Headquarters is seeking to build a pipeline of highly motivated and detailed oriented Senior Accountants to support our client partners and company growth.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and with financial statement preparation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review work of staff and junior accountants as well as accounting clerks for accuracy and completeness
- Ownership of the entire monthly close process for assigned clients
- Analyze and reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L accounts including but not limited to cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and investments
- Production of complete set of financial statements – Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash Flow
- Prepare cash flow analysis, projections and various ad hoc reports requested by management
- Draft appropriate informational footnotes and provide Executive Directors with detailed analysis of financial performance
- Work with client teams to provide value added insight from the financial perspective
- Assist with year-end audits and 990 preparation with external firms.
- Manage client satisfaction in regards to Accounting services for multiple clients
- Perform integrations of revenue data from AMS (YourMembership, Association Anywhere) into Accounting Software.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES
Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 3-5 years related industry experience. Public accounting and not-for-profit experience preferred. CPA or CPA candidates a plus.
